hummus is a great healthy snack to go with crackers or vegie sticks, this recpe is really tasty and will keep you fuller for longer. hummus we buy from the shops can be a bit deceiving because it can be loaded with unhealthy things, i say make it your self so you are in control of what goes in it. :)
recipe-
1 clove garlic, small
400g can chickpeas, drained but retain a small amount of liquid
2 tbsp tahini
1 lemon - juiced
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt
method-
Place all ingredients in thermomix bowl and mix for 45 seconds on speed 4.
For a thinner consistency add some of the reserved liquid and mix for another 15 seconds on speed 4.
