Quinoa is one of the most protein-rich foods you can eat, it contains iron, magnesium, its very high in fibre and there is so many other health benefits. And... a huge bonus IT TASTES GREAT! It is one of the most versatile ingredients. A lot of people are under the impression that you can only use quinoa in savoury dishes but you can use it to make anything- from cakes, cookies, bliss balls, porridge, slices and granola is just a few of many ideas! I love the brand Three Farmers Quinoa because they support sustainable farmer. They take great care in looking after the soil they are working with, for future generation to come. They grow the quinoa in Australian soil. This is no small thing. Compare the climate of the world’s largest quinoa grower, Bolivia, with ours and you’ll notice they are very different.
